05Start Using the Internet Overseas
Once you arrive at your destination, you can start using the internet just like you do at home.

When setting up the eSIM, you need a stable internet connection such as Wi-Fi.
The available period varies by plan. Please be sure to check the details before purchasing.
An eSIM-compatible smartphone is required. It cannot be used on incompatible devices.
A deleted eSIM profile cannot be reissued. Please be very careful with the deletion operation.
Communication speed and connection status may vary by country or region.
This service is data-only. Regular voice calls and SMS cannot be used, but calling apps such as LINE and WhatsApp can be used.

Can I make it in time even if I buy on the day of departure?: Yes, it is possible. The QR code arrives by email immediately after purchase, so you can set it up even on the day of departure. Still, we recommend setting it up the day before, just to be safe.

What is a good time to scan the QR code?: We recommend scanning it and finishing setup in advance, before you depart. Communication actually starts at the time you activate it at your destination, so there's no rush.

What is activation?: Activation is the process of enabling the eSIM on your phone's settings screen. It completes within a few minutes after scanning the QR code, and you will be ready to use the internet as soon as you arrive.

From when is the start date counted?: The plan expiration starts from the moment you activate the eSIM at your destination. It is not automatically counted from the purchase date. Therefore, you can activate it at the most appropriate timing to match your travel or business trip schedule.

What should I do if I cannot connect properly at my destination?: First, try toggling your phone’s airplane mode on/off to reconnect. Restarting may also be effective. If that still does not resolve it, please contact our support desk.
