What should I do if the message "Unable to set up eSIM""Unable to add eSIM" appears?

Cause ①: Unstable internet connection A stable internet connection is required to download the eSIM.

Please try the following:
Restart your smartphone
Switch Wi-Fi networks
Connect to a different Wi-Fi network
Toggle Airplane Mode on and off

Then, scan the QR code again.

Cause ②: It has already been downloaded on another device. ➡ Since an eSIM can only be used on the device where it was first downloaded, if you attempt to install it on a different device, your current device will display an error message such as "Unable to set up eSIM." Please check if an eSIM labeled "Personal," "Work," "Travel," or "Secondary" has already been added under [Settings > Cellular]. [How to check] Tap "Settings" ↓ Tap "Cellular" ↓ If an eSIM labeled "Personal," "Work," "Travel," or "Secondary" (anything other than your primary line) appears in the SIM section, the download has already been completed.

Cause ③: The device is not eSIM-compatible or is SIM-locked. You cannot add an eSIM if your device does not support eSIM technology or if it is SIM-locked. Please check your device here: https://cross-esim.com/navigate
