Can I set it up while I'm in Japan?

You can set up the eSIM in advance, but please be aware of the activation timing depending on the plan you purchase.

【Plans that include Japan in the coverage area (e.g., Japan, Asia-wide, or Global plans)】 ➡ Advance setup is possible, but please note that the service will activate the moment you complete the setup in Japan. We recommend installing and configuring the eSIM at the time you wish to start using the service.

【Plans for other countries/regions】 ➡ You can set these up in advance while in Japan. Scanning the QR code and completing the setup before departure ensures a smooth experience, as the actual data connection will only begin once you arrive at your destination.
