you can configure the settings while in Japan, but the usage period begins the moment you do so.

Specifically, the duration is calculated based on a 24-hour cycle starting from the time of activation.

Example: For a 1-day eSIM plan

Activated on May 15 at 15:00 ➡ Valid until May 16 at 14:59
