What does "activate" mean?

"Activating" refers to the process of enabling an eSIM added to your smartphone so that it is ready for use.

Activation occurs automatically after you scan the eSIM QR code. While the status may display as "Activating" while in Japan, the process may only complete once you connect to a supported network at your destination.

Therefore, if the status shows "Activating" before you travel, please do not delete the eSIM; leave it as is and proceed with your trip.
